Hello, My name is...
After backspacing and deleting 3 million times, I've finally mustered up the courage to introduce myself. I feel like I'm about to introduce myself to a class and have less than 30 seconds to state my name and a cool fact that will grab your attention.
Here's what I would probably say:
Hi! My name is Asia. I’m 20 years old, majoring in mass communications and minoring in marketing. An interesting fact about me is that I have a twin sister.
I’ve been using this fact since elementary school lol.
There you have it. However, since this is a blog post I guess I should start by saying what was the reasoning behind me creating this blog, Mane Style.
I decided to create this blog for two main reasons:
I wanted something of my own. I always find myself investing my energy and time into things for other people. Don't get me wrong, I love helping others but it was time that I created something that was MINE.
To prove my fears wrong. Although, I've always thought of starting a blog, this is a scary process for me because it is pushing me out of my comfort zone. There is sometimes a little voice in the back of my head saying that I can't do this but through this blog I want to prove to myself that I can!
The Mane Style, is mainly (Get it? Lol) a natural hair and fashion blog. I wanted to create a place to bring the two together through featuring chic girls with awesome hair, trend alerts, natural hair tips, and much more.
By being a college student, I know #TheStruggle and I want to include tips for the everyday girl and how to be frugal but still fabulous. And what is life without some randomness? So don't be surprised if you come across the highs, lows, funny, and not so funny moments of my life.
