I’m back today with another Bomb #ManeCrushMonday! Today I’ll be featuring the ultimate Curl Boss Babe Synahia, Syn City blogger ✨ I discovered Synahia on Instagram (as I do most of my #MCM) and was instantly captured by her beauty and effortless style. She was deff on my must-have list to be featured as a Mane Crush.

Mane Style: How long have you been natural?
Synahia: I’ve had natural hair all my life, but it hasn’t always been super healthy. It wasn’t until my junior year of high school that I really started to embrace it and love my locks. After I transitioned from major heat damage in high school, I’ve had some major switch ups here and there (color treatments, big chops) that got me to where I am currently.
MS: What is your go-to hairstyle that never fails?
S: Because I’m lazy and don’t like to do my hair most of the time, my go to styles are buns! I love a good top knot or a slick back.
MS: Do you have any holy-grail products you can’t live without?
S: I go through a lot of different products depending on the current state of my hair, but the one that I always keep around is Eden Bodywork’s Jojoba and Monoi Deep Conditioner. I’ve sworn by it for years!
MS: Describe your personal style in two words?
S: Hmm, that’s kinda hard, but I always go for the chic, effortless look.
MS: What clothing store(s) could we find you in, mostly?
S: My go-to stores are Zara, Top-shop, Target, Urban, and I like a lot of thrifty/ boutique stores.
MS: If you couldn’t live without one thing in your closet what would it be?
S: My favorite leather or denim jacket.
MS: Does your outfit of the day reflect how you wear your hair? Or vice versa?
S: Absolutely. My hair has to match the style of my outfit or it throws everything off. I literally won’t wear certain looks unless my hair is a specific way. It all matters.
MS: Just for fun, who are your top three #WCW or just women who inspire you?
S: This list moves between a handful of women that I admire. For right now, I’ll say that the women who inspire me the most are Nichole Lynel (Boss), Fe Noel (Designer), and Conna Walker (Business Crush).
MS: If you could share one of piece advice with readers, whether it be about style, hair or life, what would it be?
S: Do/Try/Wear the things that make you most happy & be yourself, unapologetically. No one else’s opinions concerning YOU matter.
