It’s Monday so I’m just dropping in to bless you with another #ManeCrushMonday! This one all started with a dm to the gorgeous Imani. Mane Style: How long have you been natural?

Imani: My last perm was in 2010 and of course it took about a year or so for that to grow out (especially because I wasn’t doing a big chop). Been natural since then!

MS: What is your go-to hairstyle that never fails?

I: Sleek low bun or a Sleek bubble pony. My 2 faves that almost ALWAYS come out perfect.

MS: Do you have any holy-grail products you can’t live without?

I: Of course! Skincare: First Aid Beauty’s Skin Rescue Acne Clearing Charcoal Cleanser with Probitics. Hair: Olive Oil or Argan Oil EcoStyler. Body: Jent’l Whipped Body Butter

MS: Describe your personal style in two words?

I: Comfortable & Effortless

MS: What clothing store(s) could we find you in, mostly?

I: Zara, without a doubt!

MS: If you couldn’t live without one thing in your closet what would it be?

I: At the moment, my Stan Smiths. So comfy, and go with everything!

MS: Does your outfit of the day reflect how you wear your hair? Or vice versa?

I: I usually pick my hairstyle (depending on if I overslept or not) first, then pick out my outfit. I do take them both into account though. They have to mesh.

MS: Just for fun, who are your top three #WCW or just women who inspire you?

I: Can I say two? If so, Tracee Ellis Ross and Oprah (of course I’d say oprah lol)!

MS: If you could share one of piece advice with readers, whether it be about style, hair or life, what would it be?

I: I know it can sometimes be hard, but always try to think positive thoughts.
